In December 2022, Downtown Jackson Partners teamed up with Visit Jackson, Magnolia Sunset Markets, AIA Mississippi, the CIty of Jackson and other organizations to host the first ever Capital City Lights.
The event continues to grow each year, adding partners and fun holiday activities including tours of historic state buildings and private businesses, a retail market, lighting displays and decorated storefronts, and much more, kicking-off the Christmas season in Downtown Jackson.
