A historical landmark, the Electric 308 building is located on Pearl Street in the heart of Downtown Jackson. In 2004 a restoration began, restoring the building to its original 1930s facade. The project consisted of a complete renovation of the 10-story building, with the interiors of the office building redesigned as a multi-use facility offering upscale offices and residential housing. The top two floors are now luxury apartments for lease with amenities and services equivalent to those offered at affluent boutique hotels. The bottom floor currently houses the City of Jackson Welcome Center and other retail space.
