The Fertile Ground Project and the Mississippi Museum of Art have teamed up for a fermentation workshop on creating fermented value added goods. Each Monday, on September 14, 21, and 28, a new video tutorial led by DJ Baker will be launched. The videos within the workshop will cover a brief introduction of on the basics of fermentation and then dive deeper into specific types of fermentation. The series will include some tangible and intangible takeaways, which will pose as “starters” on your personal journey to fermentation. Every Monday, when the video drops, a list of ingredients will be posted so that you can make your own at home. Every Wednesday following the video there will be a Q&A hosted by the Mississippi Museum of Art with DJ to answer any questions you may have as you make your own items.
