The 2025 Dixie National Parade will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025! The procession will follow a mile-long route, beginning at 10:30am at the corner of Mississippi and Jefferson Streets, and will circle the State Capitol before traveling down Amite Street all the way to the Mississippi State Fairgrounds. The best viewing will be near the Capitol grounds at President, High and West Streets!

As part of the annual Dixie National Rodeo and Livestock Show, the Dixie National Parade is an outdoor event that kicks off rodeo competitions and features the famous Dixie National Wagon Train. The Mississippi Fire Academy Elite Honor Guard leads off the procession, followed by Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson and an array of antique cars, rodeo queens, decorative floats, mounted horses and marching bands celebrating through the streets of Downtown Jackson!

This event is part of the 60th Annual Dixie National Livestock Show + Rodeo, celebrating “60 Years in the Saddle”, which will be rolling into downtown January 3 – February 16, 2025.

For six thrilling weeks, the Fairgrounds transforms into a hub of equine and livestock shows, the Dixie National Rodeo, the prestigious Sale of Junior Champions, the Dixie National Marketplace, the Dixie National Steakhouse and the Dixie National Parade!
