The 1877 Signature Event | Get ready to experience an unforgettable evening of elegance and entertainment at The 1877 Signature Event, hosted by the Development Foundation at Jackson State University. As the 2nd Annual affair, this event sets the stage for the JSU vs Alcorn football weekend, bringing together JSU alumni, organizations, friends, and supporters to network and contribute to the financial expansion of the university.
Comedians Rita Brent and Merc B will keep the laughter flowing throughout the night, while live performances by Kem, Unfazed Show and Band, violinist and John Uzodinma promise to captivate the audience. Featured DJs, including Kujho, Nasty Sho, George Chuck, and Mr. Adams, will set the perfect mood for the evening.
Indulge in delectable dishes from Taste of Jackson, featuring the City’s Best Chefs, and enjoy the exclusive 1877 Signature Cocktail sponsored by Cathead Vodka. The dress code is JSU Chic which is chic, dressy casual, and ready to impress. The event also offers the luxurious Bourbon Lounge Experience at an additional cost.
