Being no stranger to the stage, Rohan is a producer, drummer, percussionist and music enthusiast. For live sets- he incorporates drums and percussion with mixing original music on the spot. ROHAN SOLO dives into deep and heavy bass music territory- but is not limited to a single genre. Listeners can expect genres along the range of Left field bass, Deep/heavy Dubstep, House, DNB,Future Funk, Garage, Glitch/IDM, Breaks + cinematic elements mixed in with thunderous, floor shaking bass drops with crisp and clean production, all tied in with live instrumentation.
Rohan has made his mark touring and performing all around the USA playing with many different bands and producers. Known for his work performing with the bands Space Kadet, Higher Learning and Hive Mind- he has opened for acts such as Griz, STS9, Big Gigantic, The Disco Biscuits, Tycho, The Floozies, SoDown, Papadosio, Lotus, Manic Focus, Russ Liquid Test, Chris Karns, Figure, Daily Bread, and the list goes on even further. Rohan has frequently performed live drums with artists such as Marvel Years and has played drums with Manic Focus and Maddy O’Neal on occasion as well. Rohan has played at festivals such as Camp Bisco, Hulaween, Sweetwater 420 fest, Wakarusa, SummerCamp, Brainquility, Purple Hatters Ball, Backwoods, STS9’s WaveSpell, Revibe Retreat and more. Even through the struggles of 2020- Rohan managed to play a few socially distant shows opening for artists such as SoDown, Marvel Years and Manic Focus.
ROHAN SOLO started to gain attention as a project when Manic Focus dropped his “Man’s not hot remix” on his Manic Monday live stream in June 2020. Shortly after, Manic Focus also dropped “Feel the vibe” which led to being the first ROHAN SOLO track release. The goal and focus of the ROHAN SOLO music experience is to take listeners on a journey through sonic frequencies and vibrations.
