Music in the City is a monthly program presenting live performances by classical and traditional artists. The series is generously sponsored by St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral. For this performance of Music in the City, the Mississippi Museum of Art is delighted to present Adam Almeter and Tyler Kemp for a virtual show.
Tyler Kemp is an accomplished pianist and collaborator, and has become an essential part of musical life in Jackson, Mississippi. His captivating and exciting performances of classical, jazz, and pop music showcase confidence and fluency in all genres.
Adam Almeter, originally from Naperville, IL, has been principal trombone of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra for five years. During his time in Mississippi, he has also played for the Opera Mississippi, Delta and Meridian Symphony Orchestras, and the Festival South in Hattiesburg.
