Other Information

The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is continuing its free, virtual, HAPPY HOUR events with fascinating members of their extended music community. You’re invited to sign up, sit back and enjoy these upcoming casual conversations between Conductor Crafton Beck and guest musicians.
We will be joined by bass-baritone Laurence Albert for a conversation about his extraordinary musical career, which spans over four decades and includes countless performances in opera, oratorio, concert, and recital. Laurence was an essential part of the MSO 2017 production of Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha. We will talk about his passion for opera, his experiences here and abroad, and he will share recorded performances with us. Laurence is truly one of Mississippi’s musical treasures and is currently on the faculty at Tougaloo College.
This FREE virtual event is limited to 95 participants and registration is required! Reserve your spot: https://bit.ly/2ZZfNVP
