Sphinx Competition winner and in-demand Decca Classics recording artist, Randall Goosby, makes his Mississippi Symphony Orchestra debut, January 29th at Thalia Mara Hall, with Max Bruch’s best-loved Violin Concerto No. 1. That’s the centerpiece as MSO performs full force with a rousing, high-energy program punctuated by the beautiful melodies of Verdi’s La Traviata Act III Prelude and Liszt’s third symphonic poem. Shostakovich’s uniquely bright, delightful showpiece Symphony No. 9 caps the night with a celebratory air.
Tickets can be purchased online ahead of time, or grab your tickets from the box office which will reopen at Thalia Mara Hall at 6:30pm on the evening of the concert.
