Jonathan Yargates Band with Jason Turner at Martin’s Downtown

Jonathan Yargates, born in the Steel City, was raised in Jackson, Mississippi before moving to Austin, Texas and then on to New York. Yargates began as a powerhouse guitarist while in Jackson, but learned that being diverse was the best way to standout. He branched out and has been in several different bands playing several different instruments, including drums in a punk band and mandolin in a bluegrass group. Since going solo Yargates has remind high on local charts and has toured Europe and parts of Canada. With idols like Beck, Prince and Jimi Hendrix, Yargates has a little something for everyone.
