At noon on Wednesday, May 10, there will be a screening of The Defenders: How Lawyers Protected the Movement. Produced by Red Squared and MDAH, this award–winning documentary focuses on Mississippi lawyers who represented African Americans in the years leading up to and during the Civil Rights Movement. The program will take place in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.
