On Wednesday, November 13, at noon, Sharbreon Plummer will present “Memory Working: Quilts, People, and Place” as part of the History Is Lunch series in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums, which will also stream live on the MDAH Facebook page and YouTube channel. After Plummer’s talk, attendees will have an opportunity to visit the museums’ behind-the-scenes collection storage area to see two quilts by Hystercine Rankin, an award-winning African American quilter from Mississippi.
