The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is pleased to continue the popular FREE Virtual HAPPY HOUR with an event on January 28, 5:30-6:30pm with clarinetist J.C. Barker! You’re invited to sign up, sit back & enjoy these casual conversations with Conductor Crafton Beck & guest musicians via Zoom.
Mississippi-born clarinetist J.C. Barker will discuss his dual life as both a performer, clarinetist, & executive orchestral administrator, and will share his unique & passionate perspectives on the art scene today. In 2006, J.C. was soloist with the MSO when he performed the Mozart “Clarinet Concerto”. For a number of years, he managed the Mobile Symphony Orchestra while also serving as its Principal Clarinetist.
