Event Details

Other Information

Join us March 19th, 20th and 21st at the Mississippi Trade Mart on the State Fairgrounds for the Jackson Garden Extravaganza! We are excited to bring our vendors back together with all of your garden and patio needs – Flowers, Trees, Landscape Professionals, Garden Accessories, Yard Art, Ironwork, Pottery and much, much more – in the brand new MS Trade Mart building!

The Garden Extravaganza is a family friendly event. Our Children’s Area will have ‘make and take’ activities to teach kids fun gardening skills.

As always, the experts from Mississippi State University Extension will be there to answer all of your plant and gardening questions, offer help, and test soil for free.

Of course the real stars of the show are always the flowers! You’ll find Mississippi Medallion Award Winners, succulents, ferns, trees, shrubs, roses, bedding plants, vegetables, herbs and so much more.  Many of the garden centers will have dish gardens, beautiful hanging baskets and gorgeous mixed containers that are ready to brighten your porch for the spring!

Not sure which plants that you need?  There will be plenty of people that can help you with that.  There will be numerous garden center employees, landscapers, and MSU experts on hand to answer questions.  Make sure you bring pictures of the area or container you are buying plants for; you will also want to know the amount of sunlight and shade it receives…..these are very important things to know when shopping for plants.
