Join the Mississippi Department of Archives & History for a free gallery talk at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, in the “Solidarity Now! 1968 Poor People’s Campaign” special exhibit at the Two Mississippi Museums. Ellen Meacham, journalist and professor at the University of Mississippi, will present from her book “Delta Epiphany: Robert F. Kennedy in Mississippi” that details Robert Kennedy’s visit to the Delta in 1967.

The “Solidarity Now! 1968 Poor People’s Campaign” traveling exhibit is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and supported by the CVS Health Foundation.
