Fooshee’s Forecast: pre-party for Widespread Panic at Martin’s Downtown

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Fooshee’s Forecast is emerging on the scene with a sound that’s familiar yet unique, resulting in a fusion of Folk, Funk, and Blues – quality music, authentic in its nature. Led by Jon Fooshee, the band was formed from a wealth of touring musicians who enjoy the synchronicity of composed songs paired perfectly with the freedom of improvisation.

The roster of musicians that Forecast draws from have collectively headlined major music festivals, embarked on international tours, and have released albums under major record labels. Yet with roots tying each musician back to Atlanta jam sessions, the Forecast aims to share the experience of community that they have found in music with everyone listening.

Constantly collaborating and creating, the band has a vast amount of new music on the way, as well as other median-crossing endeavors, such as pairing their upcoming funk album, Traffic Jams, with a comic book. “The goal of our music is not to be a distraction, but to inspire creativity and hope for a better future.”
