The Jackson Police Department will host the Faith & Blue Building Bridging National Weekend, October 6-9, 2023. This event allows people of all backgrounds to work with those who uphold our laws to create a more just and equitable union.
Our city is united by its diversity and ceaseless movement toward protecting and valuing everyone, regardless of who they are. For this reason, we welcome you to join in, and pray for a better quality of life for all citizens of Jackson, MS. Several events have been scheduled during the celebration of Faith & Blue Weekend:
Friday, October 6, 2023: Faith & Blue Kickoff for Jackson with Food Truck Friday and Prayer on the steps of Jackson Police Headquarters (327 E. Pascagoula St. Prayer begins at noon, food trucks at 11am).
Saturday, October 7, 2023: Faith & Blue “No Prayer, No Peace” March will start at Jackson Police Headquarters (registration at 8am, the walk begins at 9am).
Sunday, October 8, 2023: Faith & Blue Gospel Explosion with local artists, choirs, and groups at Jackson Berean Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1150 W. Woodrow Wilson. Begins at 5pm).
Monday, October 9, 2023: Faith & Blue Crucial Conversation will be for Jackson’s young adults, teens, and stakeholders at Tougaloo College (500 W. County Line Rd. Begins at 5pm).
