The second film in the Mississippi Museum of Art’s fall film series is “The Water Lilies of Monet: The Magic of Water and Light.” This film features the masterpieces and obsessions of Claude Monet, the “Genius of Impressionism,” and takes a journey down the River Seine from Le Harve to Paris and gives a tour of Monet’s masterpieces, house, and gardens at Giverny.
This film will be screened from The Art Garden, so bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket and join in this evening event! The film will begin at sunset, following a brief introductory conversation and Q+A. Food trucks and a cash bar will be available.
