Break out the pinstripe suits, poodle skirts, go-go boots and tie-dye because the 2023 Dixie National Parade will be ‘Trailing through the Decades” on Saturday, Feb 11 at 10:30am. This is a family favorite, where an array of cars, tractors, marching groups, floats, mounted horses and wagons go parading through the streets of Downtown Jackson! Spectators can enjoy the view from President, High and West Streets.

The 58th annual Dixie National Livestock Show & Rodeo is here! Each year, cowboys, cowgirls, 4-H and FFA members, rodeo queens and spectators travel to the Mississippi State Fairgrounds to experience this “Genuine Mississippi” event. For six weeks, starting Jan 6 – Feb 19, the Fairgrounds is host to multiple equine and livestock shows, the Dixie National Rodeo, the Sale of Junior Champions, the Rodeo Days Expo, the Mississippi Ag and Outdoor Expo, the Dixie National Steakhouse, the Dixie National Parade, Miss Dixie National Rodeo Pageant, and more!
The Dixie National Rodeo takes place Friday, Feb 10 – Sunday, Feb 12 and Wednesday, Feb 15 – Saturday, Feb 18, at the Mississippi Coliseum. You will not want to miss the excitement of the largest rodeo east of the Mississippi River and the concerts following each performance! Headliners this year include Randy Houser, Chancey Williams, Mark Chesnutt, Lainey Wilson, Diamond Rio, and Casey Donahew!

Rodeo fans can shop and learn about all things agriculture and rodeo during Dixie National Rodeo Days, Feb 10-12. There will be rodeo activities for kids of all ages, educational exhibits, retail vendors and opportunities to experience the Dixie National Rodeo up close.
