Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program, continues to grow in strength, scope and human dimension. More than 5 million volunteers mobilize each year in more than 20,000 communities (including communities right here in Mississippi) to make lasting, visible change in their communities.
This year Keep Mississippi Beautiful has partnered with Keep Jackson Beautiful for the Great American Cleanup State Kickoff and Presentation of Awards with Mississippi’s First Lady, Elee Reeves. Keep Mississippi Beautiful honors individuals and organization throughout Mississippi who are making a difference, and this year our First Lady will present these awards on the steps of our State Capitol. Having these two events linked together will show how a hands-on approach to community improvement serves as a catalyst for ongoing civic engagement and promotes personal responsibility.

9:30 AM GAC Kickoff Ceremony
9:45 AM 2019 & 2020 Awards Presented
10:30 AM Keep Jackson Beautiful Volunteer Cleanups Begin
